Morals in the United States and other western countries started to decay when feminism started becoming extreme. It goes against the natural way of things. Men have always had their roles as women had theirs. It is not a societal thing, it is a natural thing. There is always a masculine and a feminine, a dominant and a submissive in most balanced relationships. Look at homosexuality. Although they are of the same gender one is always the submissive or more feminine one.
