Just serve him in general. You know what he likes, you get to know those things. Learn his routines and work with him, so he can have it more comfortable.
It's mostly about the small everyday things in life, when this goes smoothly you become more at ease and satisfied. Special occations are ofcourse nice but more like icing on the cake.

Often guys are happy to just spend time with you, what exactly it is you do is of lesser importance. So you can just, think for yourself, figure something out. It will be more rewarding to you when you yourself, discover things you can do to make your man happy. And he will appriciate your effort and concern for him, that in itself is of great value.
