Actually, the women are typically either loose or the "I just want to dance!" type. The latter ones are annoying, even to women(except for the ones who match with their type), and the loose ones are usually teeming with STDs. If you're okay with the loose ones, go right ahead, but wear a condom for your own sake.

Also, don't be so blunt as to use "Wanna have sex?" as a pickup line, unless it's in context, the girl is very very giggly and drunk, or has a particularly good sense of humor.

Yeah, a bit of both. As a girl, I can say that you definately can't go up to any woman you see and just assume she wants to date you. But at the same time, you need to have a bit of confidence. Most girls I know absolutely hate it when the guy has zero confidence, or gets right to the "sex" option.

3's comments are right too, the whole "Sex" thing should probably come much later unless you just want that.

you shouldn't ask right away, women need a more delicate approach which is also different for every woman. You just have to create an intrigating universe around yourself that makes her want to learn more about you. Later when she is really into it sex will be close.
