on the question of whether one should pursue a crush (5)

i had a serious crush on a teacher i know some time ago, it was the first time i ever felt so strongly about someone, a feeling i thought i'd never feel. but as time goes by, i just realize how impossible we are to be together. he's older than me (about 15, 20 years older?) and he just seems to have it so together. so the crush eventually dies down. although now i still like him, i think it's impossible to ever get over a crush completely. well, what my question is, is that when do you know you should pursue a crush or not? i'm not saying girls are different than guys when it comes to love but girls tend to be the passive ones... they wait till the guys to make the move.

so when do you determine if you should pursue it or not? or is it the case that you should always pursue it... just because you might regret it later? but seeing how he is my teacher, it makes this complicated huh?

btw i'm 21. so i'm an adult.

Teacher = no go

At least until he's not your teacher any more. And no matter what anyone else says, there is nothing wrong with the age gap. Best of luck dealing with your emotions and your situation.
