I need some advice.

I know this girl and ive known her for a long time. A year ago we became very close, to the point where it almost felt like we were dating but we werent for various reasons. When I first asked her if she wanted to date me she said "no" (well in a nicer way) and she said that she was happy with the way things were.

A few months after that school started up again and I missed the first semester due to circumstances beyond me. When I returned to school I find out that the same girl has begun dating someone and that they have been dating since the beginning of the semester.

I went to her and asked her why? why couldnt I be with you? and why did she reject me before but dates the guy, whom is a friend of mine, She simply says "we both knew how we felt about each other"

I think to myself...that is sort of F-ed up I felt betrayed.

Its been a while since then but I still cant stop thinking about her...help.

Sounds like a case of "X girl is a selfish bitch but doesn't come off as being one immediately." Bottom line: if it was obvious that you were interested in her, then she was taking advantage of your feelings and ignoring or not caring about the inevitable result.

That may be true...well sure feels like she did.
I havent really talked to her since. It feels as if we dont even know each other anymore. Should I maybe start talking to her again? I dont want to leave things as they are now.
