Should I call it a date? (5)

So me and this girl got somewhat involved towards the beginning of the summer. We flirted a lot, went on a couple of pseudo dates. Unfortunately, just as things were getting fun she had to leave for the whole summer. We kissed goodbye, and she left. She comes back next week. We have talked every day since then. With many 'I miss yous' etc between us during the in between time.

So we've already had planned for a long time that we were going to meet the day after she gets back. Here is my question. Should I call this a date? Is this already a date? I planned on taking her into the city to a museum and then coming back home for dinner and a movie. Is this clarification even needed?

tl;dr Me and this girl like each other, she has been away. Should I call our first day together back a date?

I think the question is "what's the difference for you if you call it a date?"

do you think the day will end differently when it's called a date by you? do you aim higher if it's a date?

so why don't you just meet her, and see how it goes ;)

Hmm.. If you have plans, and she knows you have plans, it's a date. Otherwise, I don't think it's one yet, but make it one!

It doesn't matter what you call it. But if it's successful, I think you can in hindsight.

My rule of thumb is if one person is paying for the whole thing it's a date. If she's covering her share or paying you back it's not a date. That's just by my category.
