So, I guess I'll just put this as bluntly as possible.

I fell in love with this guy 2 years ago, but he broke my heart really badly. Then I met this other guy who was really sweet and lifted my spirits beyong belief. Then I realized after 2 months of dating him, that I didn't like him like THAT. So we broke up. About a year later I went out with another guy but broke up with him after a month because I realized I liked his bff and that I still liked guy1. Guy1 has a gf now and I don't really care too much for him that way. Guy4 and I like eachother, but he also likes my bff.

About 3 weeks ago I went out with guy2 for like 3 days, and realized that no matter how much he still loved me, those feelings weren't reciprocated.

Am I just a bitch for breaking guy2's heart twice, or do I really deserve a chance at love with guy4?

what's a bff?

Anyway you are not a bitch, you just tried to find your way. Now it would be different if you just went out with guy2 not to feel lonely. And of course you deserve a chance with guy4, so go for it.

In trying to find your way, don't forget that others also have feelings. This is type of decision requires careful thought before any action should be carried out.

Why did you go with someone you KNEW you don't like? Don't lead people on. That's cruel and irresponsible. I've been lead on, and I was nearly suicidal afterwards. i don't know the extent of that guy's feelings for you, but don't lead him on. Just leave him alone if you don't like him. Do what you like but don't hurt anyone else.

>>3 Hum,... In a hole not in the US, which may explain why I had no clue. Care to instruct me on the difference between best friend and best friend forever? Do you mix blood in a cup and drink it together? ^_^

>>3 I thought people say BFF when they are annoyed of something.
Example:
Jane and Mary got home early and had this cup of tea again ..
dont tell the others pff..

OP I see a strong desire in you to start a family. I admire that quality, but you can ask anyone who has started a family, it is no joke. A friend of mine advised me that when you entering marriage, you are not only entering a loving, caring relationship, but you are also entering a butt load of work. It is hard to maintain a relationship, it is hard to care for another. Toss kids in there and the difficult will get bigger. In the present situation of the world, where the economy is failing miserably, life is not going to be easy. It will probably get worse actually. And in the US, where marriage can be considered a joke, in many respects, you should be careful of what you are getting into. Again, I admire you wanting to settle down, but do not rush into it. Take your time, make smart decisions, or else you will get hurt.

To be honest, you sound very superficial. How can you LIKE (think he's a potential lover) somebody for breaking your heart "really badly"? Are you fucking stupid? The only logical reason you would like him again is because you only like him for physical appearance.

Ask yourself. Are you really looking for true love or are you just doing it for sex/showing off/materialistic shit?

Because the latter seems pretty evident to me.

In addition to the post above, again, why would you go out with somebody you don't like? "Guy2" so to speak.

Do you even know he even loves you?
Why are you not honest to him, about how you feel? It's not that hard.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

Same thing. Normally it's used by teen/preteen girls describing their best friend whom is also a girl.

I know for a fact that I didn't like him for just physical appearance. Depression showed me how much I really loved him. But it's been 5 years. And I'm done with that shit now. I really believe that I'm over him.

As to guy2, we've always beenhonest to eachother. About a lot of things, anyways. I was mixed up with my feelings, since I found someone who went through the same thing as me (over guy1). But really, I figured out it was just pity, so I ended it. I think it's best to end something that never really got the chance to get going before getting his hopes up even more.

bf is "boyfriend", bff is "best friend forever", am i right?

So did you go out with guy4?

16 Name: kd : 2009-02-13 03:26 ID:E43C4FDq

yeah, they are.

no, were still friends, though it's obvious to each other and everyone else that we do like each other

17 Name: Secret Admirer : 2009-02-13 03:49 ID:6HC9sDKH

Then why don't you just say you like him? lul

If you can't or it doesn't seem natural, then it means that you're not liking for who he is, but more like, his outside image.

Wouldn't that just make things awkward though? He still likes my friend...
