Long Distance Pros and Cons? (4)

Well, here's the thing. I have a girlfriend of almost one year and I'm currently unemployed since I just graduated from college. She still has one more year of college and I'm staying around in the area to look for a job. The reason for this is so that I'll be around her and be able to see her at least once a week or every other week. Since I'm keeping myself in the area, there is the possibility that I am missing out on opportunities to work and gain really good job experience. However, it still bothers me that she's considering living in Japan for a year to teach English and leaving me by myself for a year. Is it unfair for her to want to do that while she wants me to stay around here? Also, do long distance relationships work out? I know she'd never cheat on me and I'd never cheat on her. So if you take that element out of the picture, will it really work? Should I start looking into jobs around the country rather than in the area since she'd consider going to Japan to teach for a year? Thanks in advance.

Another thing is that we've been arguing every week without fail (it's always my fault since I say something stupid). I'm thinking that if I were to start a long distance with her, it'll fall apart because of failures in communication. Will true love really last? Or is my stupidity going to kill it all? I'm just thinking about all the missed opportunities I'd have if started a long distance relationship...

Nevermind guys. In the process of typing this, I decided that I'm gonna stay around. It's worth it :) I don't even know why I even typed all that up. Prolly so I could think clearer. Thanks 4-ch!
