After quite a while, nearly a year. I like this one guy.
We both love Classic Rock n' roll, and we like to draw.
He plays lead guitar and is good at it. And I- I've just started learning and I just play chords and sing :P
I want to get to know him better, and get close to him without coming on strong, or looking like a fangirl.
We do have many conversation topics but mostly it's about Classic Rock. I want to know what I can talk to him about other than just our favorite music. Just to get to know him better.
Any suggestions?
"So..other than classic rock and guitars, what other interest do you have?" (phrase that however you want)
(most)Guys are very upfront about things, unless he's a massive ego-manic, you asking a few questions won't come off as too strong, and he won't be thinking "oh my god this chick is totally into me!"
Do you initiate the conversations or does he?

I see. Well if it makes any sense, from what I've seen, we have a pretty balanced initiation of conversation. Sometimes he starts a conversation, and sometimes I do.
Just ask shit. Anything. In any way.
What do you want to do with your life?'',
What do you think about x?'', ``How does the full moon behind a lightly dancing wisp of translucent fog make you feel?'', etc.
It helps immensely that you're both artists. Emotional/deep questions will be understood intuitively and answered eagerly.
if you find that hard... just stick with music and drawing to get the ball rolling since that is what you have in common.

Oh by the way, my friends are planning to ask him indirectly if he likes me. Eventually it's gonna boil down to the both of us discussing that. So what do I do? What do I tell him if it's a yes, and what do I do if it isn't a yes?
OP here
Well, we didn't have a chance to bring it up because the plan never happened because exams came up.
Today, he updated on FB that he's just got into a relationship so I won't be needing anything.
Thank you whoever wrote back in this thread :)
Shit stings like a bitch don't it? fuck your life
