Del Rey announced that they picked up the license for School Rumble at ComiCon.

Now, who do you guys think will get the anime license? A question for /anime, I suppose.

I think funimation is supposed to get it or are most likely, right?

I got the first volume. It's as funny as the anime, meaning hilarity abounds. I think a few of the scenes worked better in motion, like the bullet time parody. They made some interesting choices in the translation, like keeping names in the Family->Personal order so the name gags would work. Very thorough notes in the back with explanations of the translator's thought process on the trickier passages. I did spot some english typos but I guess that's to be expected?
