If I liked Fumoffu, should I get Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic: Overload, both, or neither?

Some of the weaker Fumoffu episodes are in the Full Metal Panic! manga, too. You already saw those, though, and they were funnier in the anime.

So, has anyone read Overload?

The first FMP manga sucked. The art was somewhere between mediocre and poor, and the pacing terrible.

I don't know how it ever got to publication. It's that bad.

I am currently on vol. 3 on the FMP manga, and vol. 2 on Overload. They both pwn, can't see why >>4 think any of them suck...

I read maybe four volumes of the FMP manga, and I can't remember a single thing. It was just that bland and uninteresting.

No, that's a lie. I remember:

• As I said, some of the weaker Fumoffu stories were in there. I can't recall which ones those are though.
• I think there was an airplane. Also some robots.

Buy one volume. Thats all one volume. Read it, and decide for yourself.

spin off manga is frequently poor and FMP is no exception going by the fumoffu volume I unwisely bought someone for Xmas. The story was poorly told and nohwere near as funny as the anime. Normally the manga version of a story has a lot more detail than anime, but the fummoffu manga had much less detail and was the weaker for it. The only + point was the inclusion of some stories not in the anime.
