I recently learned that the Gunsmith Cats manga are being reprinted in super thick omnibus editions, unflopped to boot. I always wanted to read this after seeing the OVA, but the volumes were thin and expensive(although printed on some really nice paper) and they weren't numbered so I had no idea in what order to read them. Were there any chapters missing in the earlier editions?

i've read the first 2 volumes of the re-release. each book is about 3-4 regular sized manga books put together. great reading.
