Does it exist? If so, any good bands?

I only know of Sabbat, it's good if you like black/thrash, I don't care for it much myself.

I do like Bathtub Shitter, not black metal, more of a goregrind thing but they're good stuff.

could always browse the archive, too. http://metal-archives.com/browseC.php?c=108

Along with Sabbat, Sigh, Abigail, Magane (now Zomebie Ritual) are all great Japanese black metal bands.
Problem is, they're all veteran bands with 10+ years' history. There are almost no promising new bands as far as I know, at least here in Tokyo....
There's always a shitload of mediocre grind/death metal bands around though. Uhh, some of them are actually quite good by Japanese standard....

Sigh, one of my favorite black metal bands, is Japanese. They're not traditional black metal, though. They fall into the category of "avant garde" and borrow a lot of elements from other genres. If you've heard of Diabolical Masquerade (slightly more well known avant garde black metal), then you know what I mean.

What is this avantgarde-black metal group called?

Simply "Sigh".
Sigh's BM fame comes partly from their connection with Euronymous.
Their early materials fit more within the traditional BM sound, but they got more and more experimental with each album, and eventually "progressed" out of BM entirely with the latest album Imaginary Sonicscape, though the screamed vocals are still present....
