I was trawling on the internet today looking for details on someone's ICQ number. What was really crazy is that I found this amoungst Google's results:
http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:xCOdDAdJtowJ:0x800ccc0d.com/1778481406
Any ideas? The actual site appears to be taken down and replaced by a domain camper.
Spider trap, or art.
0x800ccc0d is an error code used in Outlook Express:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813514
It's part of one of several error messages that may be shown when OE can't connect to a mail server due to incorrect account settings, firewall misconfiguration, misbehaved antivirus software, a broken modem, broken network settings, corrupted OE installation, corrupted user profile, or corrupt data on the mail server.
If you are still unable to access http://0x800ccc0d.com/ after following the instructions in the guide referenced above, you should reinstall Microsoft Windows. Thank you for calling technical support.
