I understand why somebody might want stars in the background, but replacing almost every character with an approximate homograph goes well beyond the call of duty. I aplaud you, ♥ღ.χ.ρяιη¢єѕѕ - вєcѕχ.♥ღさま.
So? Why do the young kids like 'customising' their profiles in such obscene ways? Am I just too old to understand their teenage minds?
Too little calcium in their diet is the cause...
"Calcium"? Is that how they call that white powder those youngsters sniff up their noses nowadays?
Welcome to being an OLD FOGEY.
Here's your rocking chair, your porch, and your laws, which kids should get offa.
Also, your lawn, dammit.
Haha oh wow. You know, when I se stuff like this, I always think "Just because personal homepages don't have to be accesible and don't have to attract viewers/customers, it doesn't mean that you should do everything you can to ensure that as few people as possible will view you page...".
Chair, porch, lawn, there you go.
I found this highly amusing.
I hate it but I want to do it, which is even funnier.
I thought this was in Russian at first but on further spectation I realised it was English and I was like... wow, oh wow.

If you check the friends list it's clear she's following the pattern of likeminded people who are probably pretty proficient in reading texts like hers. In other words they're deliberately trying to exclude parents, teachers and so on by making their texts difficult to read. She's otherwise chosen a decent layout and the whole page would look normal if not for the text. quite unlike some myspace disasters where the text has to be highlighted because it blends into the background (which is probably another form of exclusion attempt). Anyway, once out of their teens they stop this because they realize it makes them look juvenile and stupid rather than cool.

In other words, this is just like gyarumoji in Japan.

Or what leetspeak was 10 years ago.
she HAS to be using some sort of tranlator or text converter

Man, i'm 19, and i can't read what 13 years old write in their chat language.
But yea, this really does remind me of L33t
but i never saw any one use pure L33t for a web site when it was more popular.
while it looks slightly more mature, this is kinda inefficent. I really prefare the SUPER COMPRESSED IM english where they replace what with: "wut" , over this one.
That seems like a lot of work just to make something hard to read.
And this heart character ♥ on some pages ends up looking like little pointed dots.

Well, leetspeak, when it was far less known, could be used to hide what you were talking/posting about (Like,it could stop people from finding out that you were distributing warez).
Actually, maybe at least some people do this for that reason. Maybe they don't want people googling for their name to stumble on their site. But somehow, I just don't think so...
I guess the v1@gR.a spammers took a page from that book.

So, will we start seeing Spam mails that look like those http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=277366309 in the future, where every char uses some lookalike, so it's harder to filter? It's already happening for domainnames...
"Will we start"? Do you not get spam? We've been getting them for years.

I just checked my spam folder, and indeed... I guess gmails filter is really good.
