take a look at this...
what do you think? My opinion is that the ISPs wouldn't be so stupid to lose their customers....the japanese version of RIAA wouldn't pay them enough....but....comment on it
When you think about it, who are they going to lose the customers to... another Japanese ISP which is also subject to the same filtering?
"Perfect Dark"
Some ISPs do the same thing all over the world
Tell me, when was the last time you had your internet cut off or the cops came to the door because you downloaded a copyrighted movie/music etc? Not too often? Never? Same thing everywhere else.
its times like this when the 2ch isp looms as a figment of legend, a symbol of times long past and victories not won.

This is so scary. More and more rights are being taken away everyday...
Thank God I use bittorrent.
Torrents are hard as shit to block, plus with all of the free proxies running around file sharing will never stop.
Besides, what about people sharing files besides mp3s or music? I share code and other pdf type of stuff.
File sharing should be a basic and fundimental right of all people who use the internet. I understand that people want to prevent their merchandise from being downloaded without their permission but it is up to them to prevent such things and if they manage to, then kudos, but don't tell me what I can and can't do on my computer.
Its not the sentiment I disagree with, and by all means they should try to protect their products from being stolen. But punish those who use file sharing for that shit and leave everyone else alone.
