Apple charges to much for iTunes content. 10 bucks for a 15 track album? Sure, I'll pay that. The same price for 10 tracks? What the hell. And then I see movies like The Incredible Hulk going for 15. 15 dollars for a movie that only the buyer can play on the buyer's approved play back devices? What the hell man. With music I'll just burn to a CD and rip later, DRM free. But these movies piss me off. I can't even burn them to disk with Apples' own iDVD. Oh, lets not forget Season Pass. I thought it was cool for awhile, but who wants to wait until the next day to watch the latest episode of their TV show? By the time I see it I've already heard everything about it. Ok people, what are your problems with Apple and the iTunes store?
I have no problems because I don't use this crap
I pirate all my movies/music, and even the apps for the iPhone. My Mac Pro ran me two thousand dollars though, and I've yet to upgrade it. I have a love/hate relationship with Apple.
Op here.

I think the iTunes store gets away with this crap because it has no major competition.

Jobs is just a control freak. I think the man would likely do all this no matter what the competition was like.
Apple: Flashy wank.
Maybe I'm an Apple apologist but at least some of the stupid shit is forced by their agreements with the media companies. Who, incidentally, would be thrilled to see a competitor overtake iTunes (because Apple forces some of its own conditions they dislike, such as selling all songs at the same price) and thus make better deals with its competitors.
