google considers "cat" a swear word? (4)

i noticed this when i was searching for schrodinger's cat, try typing "cat" into google with that search suggestings thing enabled. all it suggests are words starting with "cat" but not phrases containing "cat" on its own, as if you'd typed some sexual term (try "cunt" for instance)

possibly just because it's a very short word.

"Does a cat" shows many results.
here's one,
"does a cat have an appendix"

Perhaps they fixed it >>1 ? Or you didn't look very well.
