Ok, I've been told I should shave my back, and I'm looking for advisse.. All kinds of webpages say to just have someone do it for you, but what do you do if you don't have someone around who could do that? How on earth are u supposed to accomplish something like that when you can't see what youre' doing?

Well, Get a mirror and look through it to look at another mirror pointing at your back. there! that wasn't so hard.

I would not try to do it yourself as you could cut yourself up pretty bad. Have you thought of going to a professional and getting it waxed?

That's what I've kind of tried to do... I'm afraid of cutting myself, or just flat out doing a pretty messed up hackjob...

I've thought about it, but I'm kind of leery of going that entire route; Not only is there the money, but also I'm not hardly any pro bodybuilder or anything, so I'm kinda embarrassed to do that..

I guess moreso I was just curious if anyone had been successful using a mirror & razor, or if there was a better way...

I'm guess it's accurate to say I'm not looking to have a perfectly smooth, flawless back here, just to get it generally looking clean, not hairy all the time..

Srsly, the beauty parlors have seen things more worse than a hairy back.

I guess using those hair removing lotions would be easier. The ones when you paste it on and the magically wipe it all off. Like Nair's or something.

Shaving the back sounds a little gross for me. I can imagine how uncomfortable it would be when it grows back all bristly and shit.

Waxing at a parlour sounds like a better alternative.

>>6 yeah, that's the other factor I'm concerned about when considering shaving it... The bristly factor... I shaved my chest almost all the way bare sometime back, and it bothered me to no end for a week or so wearing t-shirts, as it constantly itched, what w/ the bristles & all...

yeah its recommended you wax instead of shave/hair depleter creams. the thing with shaving and hair removal creams are that they dont get rid of the hair at the root, so it stubbles really quickly. waxing pulls out the root, so it takes longer to grow (4-6 weeks) back fully and also the hair will be weaker so wont be as bristly. id say either go to a beauty salon and get it done or get a friend to wax it for you - but only a friend who actually knows what their doing with hot wax (which is why a professional is better) also eventually with waxing the hair may never grow back :) n yeah the salon will have done much worse stuff than waxing some out of shape guys back - theyll just be glad its not another anal bleaching or some old lady wanting a brazillian wax....
