Salt Stains from clothing? (6)

Okay, I kinda have a semi-sucky condition.

I sweat. A lot. I hypersperspirate like a bat outta Hell.

Sometimes, I sweat so hard- especially during this time of year- that I end up ruining my clothes with horrific white salt stains. I'm wondering if there is any way to get this kinda stuff out. I have heard vinegar works and it works so-so... but I'm wondering if there is something more effective. Any ideas?

How about prevention? Anti-perspirants?
I've never used them, but some of them boast "no white marks". At least that's what they say on tv...and television is always right.

As for the clothes..maybe you should just wash them more regularly. I know my brother used to get those salt marks, but that was because he would leave them to stink and dry out in his room. When you get home from school/work, dump your clothes into a bucket of water (with some sort of cleanser if you want), so the sweat doesn't dry into white marks. Take them out and wring out the water an hour or so later.

I do use an prescription-strength antiperspirant for my underarms that has no white marks.

And I wash my clothes regularly; I rarely if ever wear the same piece of clothing twice. However, the water bucket with some vinegar might just work... I'll try it.

Perhaps wear cheap t-shirts under your regular clothes, and then just throw them out when they get too filthy to even wear underneath. Change the (underneath) shirt halfway through your day if you need to do so.
(Assuming this is mainly pits/back)
