Practical advice? Instead of fixating on her, go talk to someone else. Go talk and hang out with more people. Overcompensate your fixation with her by fixating on everything else.

You're not going to succeed forgetting about her and stopping your obsession about her until you can replace that obsession with something else. Just trying to stop it's gonna fail.

Fill that hole in your head with something else.
