Future Career Decision Making (7)

I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I have always wanted to be a police officer, particularly with the DEA, but my health has suddenly taken a turn for the worse and I won't recover enough to be a cop. I need to decide what college to go to and what I want to go for very soon, yet I'm at a standstill.

What should I do with my life? I'm stuck getting a desk job at this point. I love computers, but I'm horrible in math and would never survive the college math courses required for a degree in electronics. I'm very interested in law and psychology, but I don't want to be a therapist (Listening to 12-year-olds bitch about how their parents don't understand? No thanks.). I'm good with logic puzzles, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting.

Does anyone have an idea of what I could do with my life? I've taken those "Personality tests" for careers and they all tell me I should be a cop.

Please and thank you.

How about law?

If you for some reason suck at math but are good in logic, you would be able to follow the kinds of things a lawyer would learn.

OP here. I forgot to mention that I'm really not good with people, at all. I was a hikikomori for three years, and although I can leave the house now, I still can't think clearly unless I'm alone.

I don't think I could do any Phoenix Wright'ing.

Security? You just stand around , or sleep in your car.

You don't have to be an "officer of action" to work with the police. >>5 mentioned computer forensics, but you could go into any number of forensics fields as an investigator.

That'd give you an outlet for your aptitudes while still working in the field of your choice.
