I am ultra-elitist. Everyone I interact with has some tiny flaw I don't like, and then I end up hating them for it. I've spent 95% of the last two years of my life in my room, because I can't stand going outside to see more things I personally don't like.
There was just one exception, and it was a friend of mine who lives about two blocks away. We've been friends for five years now. I hung out with her and stuff every once in a while, and we talked on the phone too. Just a few hours ago she told me she got pregnant. Maybe it shouldn't be a big deal for me, but it is. I never saw her as the type to have sex with people and shit(she and I are both 17), and she went and got pregnant to one of her friends. I asked her if she was drinking or something, and she said she was only a little drunk and she did it because she wanted to. So, just casual sex. When she talked to me about it, she was surprised I wasn't happy about it. I could have killed something. Now the only person in the world I thought I both knew and respected was just like everyone else.
I feel like I've lost everything that matters to me. What do I do?

After that, I suggest you cease all communications between yourself and that girl (however what worries me is not her having had sex. Sex and love are two different things and casual sex is fine, in my belief. Getting pregnant is something a whore does, however).
Spending 95% of your life in your room is ridiculous. You are an idiot and an unintelligent idiot at that. It would seem nothing I can say would help you if you have spent two years in one room.
