You could have a family member accompany you somewhere and just kinda stay out of sight while you talk to people, and then build up from there. If you don't feel up to that you could try making friends online.

not to pry but what kind of trauma was it? just curious you dont have to tell.

also you have to internet so you are technically talking to people except for the fact that the bbs usually take forever to talk cause i only check these like once every 2 weeks.

anyway try using the internet to talk to people to gradually get used to the idea of strangers or other trauma related problems you have, hope this helps

I have pstd, from my previous marriage of domestic violence and gang rape by my husband and his friends...
im going to a group counsling that my counsler recommend, says that its a good start to talk with people in person since they have all similar cases.

I know that talking on the internet is technically talking to people but at the same time anyone can lie or be someone else so to me its not real i guess. I try but i dont trust many place im afraid that he'll find me so here where you dont have to sign in i feel a bit secure, it may sound odd wierd or even childish but to me it makes sense...

thank you for your advices i really apreciate them =)

Don't you have friends before you get married? Maybe you can start with the friends of your family member

i did have friends but i cant get in contact no matter how many times i try. I figured that its pointless to keep trying if they dont want to start over then i should look else where, but alone i just freak out and i cant have my family with me 24/7

The group is a very good place to start. Not only will it introduce you to people, but it will also show you that you are not at risk.
