Changing the look a bit? (19)

I am now thinking, since the most recent board upgrade, a change of look is in order. Firstly, I was thinking that the boards move to Pseudo0ch for the default look. This wont stop you from changing it to somethding else however.

Secondly, is revamping the sidebar, and all the other static HTML pages to suit a more "2ch" looking style. Minus the heavy advertising. Of which I may discuss about in the very long term (Hint: donations keep advertising away).

Before I make this change happen longterm, I would like to hear your feedback. I'll most likely put it up now so you can see, and if there is any complaints, I'll keep the old futaba look at the ready should there be a major disagreement.

I support 2ch sidebar look. I assume you mean a better grouping together of the various boards. Could you elaborate more on what you meant with the other comments about revamping? Maybe a pic or something...?

I dunno about the default look. Maybe someone should start a thread in /general/ to find out by poll which stylesheet gets used the most right now and make that the default theme then?
Not that I am against pseud0ch... ;-)

Also, what's the default theme right now? Futaba?

As long as futaba etc is still available, I guess the default can be whatever you think suits the site best.

Making new stylesheets for Kareha is pretty easy, by the way.
Just grab yourself one of the css files, save a test page for the board frontpage, the "Entire thread" page and the "All threads" page and you should be set. If it looks good, send it to WAHa when you're done and maybe it will be included in the next release.
