Not quite sure where to put this.

Who is more trustworthy? When you're trying to find a good (free) program, would you go for a Google link or a recommendation from Anonymous?

P.S. I'm trying to find good image handling software (duplicate elimination, external tags, etc.) and I want opinions. Picasa doesn't do it for me.

For Windows, there's so much shit, you kind of have to go on recommendations.

Oh, I guess I wasn't clear enough. I was thinking more of image categorizing software, not manipulation.
