See this movie. Now. I waited too long.
Sim City? oó
I haven't seen it yet actually. Never read the comics either.
I've seen it the other day. Wasn't too impressed with it. It was a fairly good translation of the comics, + seeing the hookers in 3D was hot. Also, Mickey Rourke was awesome.
But apart from that, the movie wasn't really astounding or anything. Seems to me like it would have worked better as a TV series than a blockbuster cinema feature.
I liked it. It was OK.
Very good visuals.
(And there was a hobbit cannibal)
SPOILERS & DISCUSSION:
It was an interesting movie, I suppose... but I don't see the correlation the middle storyline of "avenge the hooker" had to do with the other storyline of "old man saves girl", anyone care to enlighten me? I thought both segments of "old man saves girl" were great. My memory is already fuzzy >.>
It's just a movie with different storylines from the city.

That's disappointing then :(

I always felt that the little girl was going to get raped, but the audience never knew when it would occur. I guess there's just that part of me that wants bad stuff like that to happen!
Read the comics ages ago, haven't seen the movie yet, really glad that it actually seems to be a good translation of the comics.
Elijah Wood was too busy running his record label and messing with Hooligans...
I can't keep the comics on the shelf in my bookstore. I got a whole set in, and by the end of that day it was gone.
O_o
The movie was great, it really captured the feel of the comics for me. Makes me wonder if Frank Miller is going to do a movie for 300.
