Anyone else seen this movie? It's about these engineer-types who spend their free time tinkering with stuff in their garage, and they sort of accidentally invent a time-travel device. It deals mostly, then, with the logical implications of time travel and the moral implications of the people using it. It won the "grand jury prize" at sundance last year, I think, and it was made for only around $7000, too.
I saw it for the first time earlier today and I have to say that it has one of the most incomprehensible plots that I've ever seen. I imagine given enough time it would all make sense but I did NOT get it after one viewing. Perhaps there's someone else here who has a better grip on the plot and can fill me in?
Also: Great movies made cheap? Sci-Fi films that really make you think? Great obscure movies? Comments/discussion?
Agreed. I did not understand everything in the movie, but it was great nevertheless. I will definetly watch it again sometimes... (yet I´m not sure if it will help)
