With the popularity of Morning Musume clips in the google video thread, I thought maybe some would like to see full length stuff too. Hello Morning runs weekly, and the newest ones have been subtitled of late. http://www.hello-online.org has a tracker, but you need to register to get torrent files (ugh) so get it here, or try bugmenot. It's still populated so you can get fast speeds.

Last week's show had the girls vs pro wrestlers in winter sports.
Summary, softsubs, and screenshots are here.

Bah, screwed up the link. Just go to the iichan torrents board.
I wish more JP TV shows were as readily available in their entirety as H!M.

IIRC the 'registration' doesn't require an email address or any other verification, you just make up a user name and password and you can download. So it's pretty much like using bugmenot anyway.
While I'm at it, here's some extra subtitled videos not torrented on the main site, featuring Takahashi Ai (and other members too):

Nice find. I'm having a heck of a time finding any Matthew's Best Hit TV, with or without subs.
Here's a place with a ton of subbed Mini Moni tv serials(addictive). There's also translated articles and radio shows.

And subs for this week's Hello Morning. This time they learn ice skating, and have an ice bowling contest with the losers enduring a haunted house punishment.

I finally finished that Takahashi Ai on BHTV video. It was so funny, I can't believe she sang the whole thing at the end. XD Now I want to find the PV of that Yamazaki Ichiban song, is it online anywhere?
This show is incredibly retarded, yet I can't stop watching. Dear 4-ch, do I have a problem?
>>7 Which show?
If you can't stop watching, then you definitely also need to see the Mechaike Bakajo and Okajo specials. They put the girls through the grinder to see who is the dumbest and who is the "crap girl" at sports. It's incredible what these pop idols at the height of their popularity will allow themselves to be put through, and even more that they look like they're having fun to some extent. There's a direct download here. http://www.dj-waffles.com/

The things that they are doing only enhances their popularity.
にほんごでOK
Oh wow, I just watched this week's Hello Morning (Jan. 22) and it's the best I've ever seen. Most of it is a competition where they have to think of "sweet lines" to say in various situations. Like if you're two hours late for a date and your boyfriend's mad. Or if he proposes marriage, and you fart right at that moment (I hate when that happens.) I laughed my head off. This is definitely a good one to start with if you've never seen it before.

This thing keeps getting more retarded and even more entertaining. There's also a skit before the main segment involving a train station, golden bird poop, and teenage lesbians. In the news segment, Sayumi so completely freaked out I felt sorry for her, but a the same time couldn't help but think it was a little cute.
New episode, this time it's a red light/green light contest through an obstacle course, in sumo fatsuits. All the while being pelted with balls and hay bales. One of the girls stands in the back chucking volleyballs at their butts with a mechanical launcher. The guest commentator is Shinichiro Oota, who was also the floor reporter for Iron Chef. Not quite as great as last week but still fun to watch. The crap flinging pigeon is back, harrassing the shop lady. She complains to the station manager and the whole thing somehow turns into a war flashback.

I thought it was him! That guy was the real star of Iron Chef. He did all the work. What the hell did Chairman Kaga do? Bite on a pepper and yell.
>the whole thing somehow turns into a war flashback.
Yossi's character has some kind of sordid past. I'm betting in a future episode she's going to dress up like Ultraman or Cutey Honey or something.
Here's an example of Utaban. It fills about the same role as a late night talk show in North America. Celebrity guests come on to plug a new project, share an anecdote, and maybe a musical performance. This one has the hosts at their funniest(and meanest). Fawning over their favorites, picking on others, and screwing around in general. The closest thing I can think of over here is Late Night with Conan O'Brien, who has a very casual interview style that often wanders off on amusing tangents or leads to him acting like a screwball.

If the torrent is dead, it's also on google video.

They also did something similar for the Christmas special last year. This week's episode was mostly a clip show so I started looking for older ones and immediately found a gem. They act out lines they want to be told on Christmas, as well as talk about stuff like their worst holiday experiences.
