after show: viewer takes "true story" claim a little too much to heart, and clings on to the nonexistent hope that hermes is a real woman.

I've loved this movie
I haven't watched it yet, but I'm assuming it's AKB48 (Akihabara48). You can find heaps of stuff on youtube (unfortunately, they haven't actually released much officially; but they have heaps of songs they only perform live).
Ever notice that one AKB48 member (the prettiest looking one, IMHO) keeps looking at Sakurai when they were on stage? I dunno....

The series was too much , i wanted to hit the fucking whiny ass in the head when he cried in front of the girl like that, it is funny, but the main character is just too pathetic.
If you like the series, watch it. But the series is better than the film. The film's otaku isn't nerdy enough. He looks like a normal man made to look like an otaku. Whereas in the series he looked like a complete nerd who changes to look a bit better than he did before.
does any one know where i would be able to find Densha Otoko the spcial (the second one) episode in an englsih sub, i tried subing it myself, but it was straing to lag, it wasnt working properly

They made a special called 'DX'. Where did you read there was a series. Sure you weren't thinking of the special. Would love another series, but I think this is all.

They just fabricated too many cliches and other over-dramatic crap into the TV series just to make it longer. I enjoyed the novel and the movie better because it was more to the point.

今日は秋葉に行ってきた。特に買う物無かったんだけど
帰りの電車の車中で酔っ払いの爺さんがいた。
その車両には座席の端で座ってる俺と爺さん以外は殆ど女性。
２０代～４０代くらいかな。
その爺さんが、周りの女性客達に絡み始めた。
最初に若い女性に絡んだんだが、その人はすごい気が強くて
爺さんを一喝して次の駅でさっさと降りていった。
その時、俺は迷惑な奴だなぁとチラチラ様子を見てた。
爺さんは次に俺の座っている座席に来て、真ん中らへんに
座ってるおばさん数人に絡み始める。
「携帯使ったらただじゃおかねーぞ」
みたいなこと言ってビビらせてたと思う。
おばさん達は（´･ω･`)← こんな感じで押し黙ってしまった。
なんか長くなりそう。
