Greatest show ever. If you haven't heard of it you MUST watch it, it is simply the most ingenious idea ever.

I have a DVD of MST3K commenting on old 1950's educational videos...Tis awesome.

It's funny to rent a DVD and sit through the obligatory FBI disclaimer, only to hear Joel say "keep circulating those tapes" at the end of an episode.

Great show, for sure. Got kind of burned out on it after a while, though. First thing that pissed me off was when the black haired lab assistant was replaced by that white haired faggot, and Tom Servo got a "voice upgrade". Then Joel left the show, and that was okay for a while, but Mike just didn't have what Joel had. I stopped watching it for a while, then came back and the SoL was being chased across the galaxy by dude and his mother in a van. Sucked. Couldn't watch the rape of my childhood be raped by the raping of my adolescence.

tl;dr even great ideas should bow out gracefully when they're done

and b) because no one wants to occupy a regular one and a half hour (and i forget if thats with commercials or without) slot with a show with niche appeal at best.

The movie was the greatest, the only film I own on VHS. When last I checked Amazon, the DVD version was like $140. WTF?
