Hey there Ventureheads. What do ya'll think of season 4 so far?
It's several episodes in now, and I think that what they've done with some of the characters is excellent. Specifically, I love how the Monarch is developing and the twist that 21 has taken. It's almost like every season the villains are portrayed as a little more competent and sinister.
And who's not excited to see Phantom Limb come back kicking ass?
i got season 2 but didnt watch it yet. just felt like responding since nobody did.
Damn, Ten Ton 21 can throw down!
loving season 4, the shows just continues to get more intelligent and well-planned. the characters are deeper than ever, moreso than in any other animated series i've seen.
can't wait for the second half of the season -- when does it start up again? summer of this year or something? will be cool to see what happens with brock's relationship to the ventures. also triana...
Stopped watching after Season 2. I have all of Season 3 but have never watched it. I heard Season 4 was split into two parts. Wasn't that the same faggotry The Sopranos did?
From what I can tell, Venture Bros. is the only exclusive heavy hitter Adult Swim has to offer. The guys at Williams Street are probably interested in releasing it slowly while they seek better content. Jackson Publick has a Livejournal so that's a better place to look for an explanation to this jackassery
Well if Adult swim went back to the days of Toonami and showing GOOD anime instead of recycled ATHF and the "Niggerdocks" Adult Swim would be halfway watchable. I remember when the worst thing AD ever showed was "Big O". Now ALL of it is shit. I have not watched it in years.
Venture Bros. might be their only winner, but if they cannot even get people to watch AD, then how will be people know when the new seasons of Venture Bros. starts?
Eh, not really an anime fan. Used to be way into ATHF, and still like Boondocks. The current problem with AS is the shitty new shows like Delocated and the endless repeats of King of the Hill and Family Guy. FG is on for like three hours already between other networks and every episode feels exactly the same as at least three others. KotH is one of my all time faves and certainly warrants a few reruns a week, but an hour a night is ridiculous. WS used to gamble with offbeat talent and unheard of producers, but now it seems like they are more inclined to offer new timeslots to established mainstream content creators

Of course, because WS have sold out and have a bunch of suits running the place instead of the people who created it.
WS SUCKS!
