I watched this monster movie when I was little and I'm trying to figure out the title. It was filmed I'm guessing in the 80s or 90s and was about this monster that ate/absorbed electricity and kept growing bigger. I think it had big pinschers and a crocodile-ish tail.

I remember three scenes: 1) It crawled into bed with this guy while he was sleeping and electrocuted him to death. 2) It hide up in a tree while this kid below complained that his game system was dying even though he just put new batteries in it. 3) The heroes trapped it in a power plant or some sort of factory and overloaded it with electricity to kill it.

Anyone know what it's called? It's been bugging me for a while so now I have to figure it out.
