I was amused by the experience of listening to actual Japanese being spoken in 18th/19th century London. ( ^ω^)
Got a screencap to show us image quality?
Saiyaman raws are universally ass, but it's watchable at least.
Do doors open outwards in Victorian England?
Yes, otherwise jokes like these wouldn't work.
Does anyone else think that William looks horribly blond?
>Does anyone else think that William looks horribly blond?
That's because he's happy-go-lucky.

メイドーさん! メイドーさん!
I must prematurely conclude that that sub sucks on the basis that it's not a softsub.
So you say iitran should release the subs in a subtitle format, additionally?
Sounds like a neat idea to satisfy the raging .mkv nerds.
Well, if it was .mkv, it wouldn't be "additionally", but that would work.
It helps other fansub groups; there are apparently lots of animuers in Poland who don't know Japanese but are happy to translate Studio ADTRW releases.
(whenever there are any lol)
There are tentative plans for a multi-language MKV version later. We did a normal AVI version first - you of all people should know why.
> Well, if it was .mkv, it wouldn't be "additionally", but that would work.
I meant for the official releases to still be in .avi (for the major part of the audience who doesn't want to switch over) and the subtitles to be in subtitle format for those who might just as well download the Japanese .mkv from Share or WinNY.
> you of all people should know why.
I only ever saw a few people who didn't know how to use the files; http://adtrw.org/faq.php helped.

Japanese people know about mkv now? All of the raws I have that came from Winny are glitchy DivX3/5 or WMV9 avi files.
> Japanese people know about mkv now?

I like the iichan releases the way they are because they (at least episode two so far) work perfectly on Philips DVP642 without cutting any subtitles or anything off(^^

PS: I don't like how the Animesuki thread is given so much attention. 4-ch.net is supreme!
Ah, I wasn't aware of that - thanks for the correction.
