Please help. I am trying to play Paprika (Satoshi Kon) in MPC using the latest release of CCCP. The voices are barely audible and for all intents and purposes are not there but the subtitles appear fine. I think video is xVid and audio is AC3-KG. It is an .avi file. Please help me watch this brilliant film.
You should use something else instead VLC Player perhaps BS Player

Try using KMP. It is Corean but it is the best media player I have had the pleasure of using.
I don't actually know anything about your problem so I'll just suggest that.

I solved the problem, so I would delete the thread if I could, please don't post in it any more.
The problem was 5.1 channel audio, I had to switch the audio settings of MPC + ffdshow to 2 channel (stereo) as I only have headphones.
Sounds like anon was stuck with nothing except tsundere flat chest

Start>Combined Community Codec Pack>Filters>FFDshow audio decoder Configureation>check "Volume" on the right hand side>go to the audio config page>boost volume levels as you see fit>Play the file in a CCCP player like Media Player classic or ZoomPlayer.
