What's the saddest moment in Naruto?

What english is that...? Don't understand..

But Haku dying amidst that unexpected snow fall is really heart wrenching. Backed up with Toshiro Masuda's Sadness and Sorrow, it really is to cry for! sob sob Haku~

I think the saddest part was when Sakura was in denial of being a yaoi fangirl.

The most sad moment in manga and anime history is definitely not in Naruto. Look further than your television for anime and you'll find a lot more tragic moments. Just watch Grave of the Fireflies, and you'll see how inferior Naruto is compared.

Indeed Grave of The Fireflies is depressing as hell. Also check out (it's not currently out of print, but nontheless fantastic (and depressing) Now and Then, Here and There or in Japanese "Ima, Soko Ni Iru Boku." It's really worth a watch if you want something sad, and above and beyond local TV anime.

I'll definitely try that anime out; it sounds quite good, from what I read on wikipedia. I'm a sucker for tragedy; don't know why, but I just love tear-jerkers. Well, they don't necessarily need to make me tear up, but if they're nice and sad, I'll like it. Also, a good tragedy-romance anime (which is like my dream come true) is Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, or Rumbling Hearts; definitely recommended for any fan of the Romance genre. Very tragic, and very real: prepare your tissues. (Well, it's not THAT bad, but it did manage to make me tear up).

Woops, I meant that it's currently out of print. (Now and Then, Here and There) Nontheless, it's fantastic. Since you can appreciate anime with substance, then I'll defenitely lookg up Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. woot.

I just watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time yesterday. It was really good as well as far as a romance film. They mixed some good Sci-Fi elements in there as well, so it works out in a good package.

Ah, I heard about that one. I've sort of had a fallout with anime; have switched over to manga for the most part, but I think I'd like to start getting back into it. Yes, if you can watch Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, you definitely won't be disappointed; it's the pinnacle of drama for an anime. I think I'll start with the one you mentioned (Now and Then, Here and There) and maybe try that movie. I'm usually more into fairly short series, so if you know of any really good ones then let me know.
