So today I went to taco bell and asked for a chicken quesadilla meal. The person at the register first thought I just wanted a quesadilla until I reminded her that I wanted the meal. She then went off onto some rant saying something like "when you come here if you want the meal you ask for a number 7 okay." Fucking bitch. Do you not understand what "chicken quesadilla meal" means? Of course she was obviously foreign and had an accent. So then she asked if I wanted a soft or hard taco to go with my meal, though I didn't really understand what she said. So she annoyedly said SOFT, OR HARD as if I was an idiot. Maybe if the bitch was a bit more understanding of the fact that her english might be a little bit hard to understand it wouldn't have been a problem.

I hate dealing with people at fast food places.

Or he could order the meal in the way that makes things easiest for the ones actually doing all of the work. There's no reason for someone to say "chicken quesadilla meal" over "number 7," and there's even less reason to fight it after being corrected.

It's all right to be mistaken as long as you remember better next time.

Yet another reason not to eat at Taco Bell.

At Taco Bell the touchscreen only shows numbers for most of the combos and no info on what items are in the combos, so it would be understandable if she just didn't know which number the quesadilla combo was...but obviously that's not the case if she could correct you with the right number.

While I was working at Taco Bell a soccer mom would show up every now and then and order a quesadilla for her son, and EVERY TIME she would bring it back because "the cheese isn't melted enough" or because we gave her chicken instead of steak (which admittedly is our fault but that only happened once).

One time this guy who obviously had personality issues came in and ordered something. He came back a while later and asked for some sour cream for his taco or whatever. When I told him it'll be 20 cents he flipped out and started yelling at me. He threw down the cup of sour cream and stormed out lol

Off-topic: I just started working there again and hadn't heard of this e. coli thing until now. Apparently they've completely taken green onions out of the food! Some things NEED green onions or they just aren't complete!

>>5 Oh and I can't forget this!

One time the same soccer mom came in with her whole family and ordered a ton of stuff. Her husband was the one ordering and he said this to me:

"I want two sides of tortilla and two sides of cheese, and put the cheese in the tortillas and grill it like a quesadilla."

I said, "....Uh, I can get you two cheese quesadillas?" but he replied that his kid doesn't like the spicy sauce. I told him I can take off the spicy sauce. He grunted and asked how much it would cost and I told him. He was outraged at the (low) price, and complained that the last person who took his order let him do that. I told him that whoever did it definitely wasn't supposed to, and he grudgingly accepted it. Or maybe he made me get the manager I don't remember lol

Kudos to him for getting away with it once, though! By cheating that way he got the quesadillas for 40 cents instead of like $1.60. The problem with that is a side of cheese is nowhere near enough cheese to fill a quesadilla, so you'll only get away with it if the cashier is stupid or the employees just don't care.

at burger places, if you want a cheeseburger you should ask for a hamburger with cheese. i've actually gotten the cheeseburger for the price of a hamburger a couple times

>I've actually gotten the cheeseburger for the price of a hamburger a couple times

And there are people like me who help make up for it. :)

I only eat kosher food, so I always end up having to tell clerks to hold the cheese when ordering my seafood/vegetarian whatever. It sort of sucks when they put it on anyway.

Sucks even more when they give me chicken instead of fish. I either have to throw it away, find someone else who wants it, or bring it back up.

I also rarely order by number, but I don't usually order complete meals. Sure, numbers make the cashier's job easier, but working there they should know what numbers correspond to the meal, or at least have a reference list nearby.

It's easier to get numbers mixed up than the name of the meal you want.

>>5 >>6 >>8 This thread is giving me truly evil ideas...and to think I was pure at heart...

Well except for this local chain of "Asian" restaurants called Chin's, where I would always write something ridiculous on the back of my receipts and leave them on the table. And one time I was picking on them because they didn't have Kikkoman soy sauce like all the other places, so when I was there a few months later this waiter was all like "do you remember when you wrote on the receipt that we should get Kikkoman?" It was the most hilarious moment.

I'm gonna have to ask the clerks at McDonalds if they're McLovin' it now. And for a hamburger with cheese.

whenever i go to taco bell i just order a $0.99 chessy bean and rice burrito because im poor as fuck. however i have been going to the same taco bell forever so everyone there knows what i want and would prepare my burritos basically as soon as i walked through the door unless i said otherwise, which is rare, and give a bunch of free shit like large drinks and nachos.
