It strongly opposes the nuclear aircraft carrier! (30)

The U.S. Navy announced that they disposed the nuclear aircraft carrier to the
Yokosuka base in 2008.

I strongly oppose it.

If the accident happens, 30 million people will be exposed to the radiation
poisoning!

The dead are 100,000 people or more.
It is presumed that the economic loss becomes 10 trillion yen or more,
too.

Even if the United States says very much, I strongly oppose it.

you need concrete action.

2005-12-09 15:02 ID:Heaven

In the phrase "It strongly opposes..." we don't know what "it" is referring to as a pronoun. I assume you are talking about yourself, so try: "I strongly oppose..."

I think the chances of such an accident happening are fairly small. In fact, I don't think the USA has ever had a meltdown in one of her nulcear ships.

Don't most ships have a reactor core that will outlive the commission of the ship itself? It seems unlikely that there would be an accident.

Actually the disposal of nuclear items is extremely dangerous and prone to accidents. The risk is fairly high. Read up on Greenpeace's website. I don't know if you all know this but... we still don't have a permanent place to put our nuclear waste.

I don't think that Greenpeace is an unbiased source of information on this subject.

I have to hand it to the french on one thing....they've realized the genius and efficiency of nuclear energy, and have regulated it very well. I don't know why the Japanese are so afraid of nuclear technology, get with your Korean friends and use breeder reactors to make lots of energy cheaply.

I do not like United States so much.
It is a country of the gun society, and the war because it is country.
I cannot do the understanding.

I know during the Vietnam War, the president talked with the vice president whether or not they were gonna drop nuclear bombs. The vice president said No to the president. You must have heard of this because American government opens their secrets files to the public after several decades. This is a great system.

I don’t want anyone to suffer due to the foolish war. My family, friends, you or someone who is called my enemy or even the people in the death row…this death and the suffering are too much. No, I don’t want anyone to die in this pain. That’s all. That is all. That is all.

http://www.coara.or.jp/~ryoji/abomb/e-index.html

This guy must be crazy. he must be telling you a bullshit. But for what reason?

I know one of the American pilots who bombed Japan committed suicide and another one still said that he did a right thing. This is just my idea but I did not want the pilot to die. He killed many people. Because of him many new born babies still suffer leukaemia. But I didn’t want the pilot to suffer till he chose his own death. I know many Japanese atomic bomb victims hated him and rejected to listen to his apology. It is understandable. (If your mother, father, friends, grand mother, grand father, sisters, brothers and your cat, dog…were stabbed many and many times with glass and iron shreds then burned till they die with great pain…Can you smile to the evil doer and take his hand to forgive? I know I should…but I don’t think I can…I’d like to kill him. Though my rational mind says he is not bad guy and it was because of the war, people had to do the things that led them to hell after they died…No…by holding my angers and then tell the person to go away is the best thing I can do to him. Since I’m not a saint, I am still on the procedure to learn how to forgive people. I’m pretty sure that I’m gonna go to hell if I die now. )
But I…still wish that someday these victims who suffer the burdens to hate the American…are released from the pain. I really like Americans. I really like people. And I don’t want them to fight each other. Hatred only brings you hatred. The bud of the pain should be removed eternally from our world.

That is true. But I think it's partly ignorance, or something like that. We aren't afraid of the horrors of war because for Americans, war has almost always been fought elsewhere. When war is something you hear about only on the 6 o'clock news, it becomes easier to ignore the people killed by both sides.

I can't even imagine a normal bomb on my city, let alone a nuclear weapon.

It's too quick to decide that way.
Gun control is also popular in here. Not all Americans love to kill people by using guns. Not all Japanese are nice. Just don't stop thinking.

Why did the United States attack Iraq after simultaneous multiple terrorist
acts?

Why were the people in Iraq not guilty killed?

The United States cannot understand really.

Just like not all Japanese agree with what Koizumi does,
not all Americans agree with the war. In fact, it's about 50/50.

Please don't blame all Americans for their stupid President.
