There is a difference. One is deliberate and the other? Not so much.

I'll admit, I find myself acting a lot like various characters out of manga, anime, and video games I take in.

It's not deliberate, but just something that kind of happens.

We see something, like a few lines or so we like, and we emulate them and incorporate it into our daily speech.
