What kind of Browser r u using now?
I love Sleipinr.
Firefox.
Epiphany!
Mosaic
Firefox 2 on my WinXP laptop, Netscape 7 on my MacOS9 iMac.
I use Firefox. I do not profess that it is the greatest browser as some do. I am just too apathetic and lazy to try anything else.

Same here.
I did download Opera once, but I didn't install it.
Firefox, sometimes Konqueror. And sometimes, rareley, links.
nobody use IE.....lol
w3m with image and japanese support

IE users don't find their way here.
They aren't elitist enough.
opera
btw, have u ever heard about Sleipnir?
what's that?
> During the several years, we create optimized code with user. As a result, we got overwhelming share of Web Browser. Sleipnir, it's the Browser is lined with history and quality.
It's Odin's magic, eight-legged horse, of course.
Sleipnir is better than firefox for me.
you don't need to install too many add-ons to sustainable to use.
For me, it's important to be using a browser that many other people are using. I want to be sure that the web will look the way it should through my browser, so I'm weary of using smaller market-share, fringe alternatives.
erm IE...
Opera is my main browser and Firefox is used for quick browsing
you know it's funny how google has overtaken the world - the single most important reason I use FF and never Opera is thet the google notebook extension works only on FF (and IE but that peace of crap doesn count as a browser lol)
I actually just noted this hread to my google notebook..
thanks OP for the news I just blogged about sleipnir. It's actually pretty epic - there have been only three browsers for windows up ot this date
Maxthon what the hell is that?
um and people who use IE6 could just go and die and save the bandwidth consumption
oops i'm dumb - sleipnir uses either trident or gecko wich makes it the same as maxthon.

You Know-it-all without installing.
I Know-it-all without installing.

Holy hell it's the other Epiphany user. How's it goin' man?

Don't forget me, brother. We're all in on this together, right?
(Number 3 appears.)
As for me, I use K-Meleon, it doesn't eat up all my memory, although I wish I could change some annoying things about it.
I use Firefox. It's just what I'm used to and I'm happy with the different extensions I have.
IE6. If I were at home, I'd use Firefox.
Firefox FTW.
Firefox. Nothing touches it.
I use w3m, but without Japanese support and usually without image support. Though as I write this I am in Firefox, it's less comfortable for me but I was looking at some heavily graphical websites a minute ago.
Firefox.
Changing from Internet Explorer to Firefox was about as much a revelation as switching from dialup to broadband.
I can't understand what good point FF has...
It's really nice. What are you comparing it to?
Compared to IE, it's slick, simple, clear, fast, safe, and practical. For the longest time, it had such obvious features IE didn't, like tabbed browsing, popUp blocker, and built-in google search bar.
The thing about IE, is that when it finally gets the features, it implements them along with a ton of clutter FF has been good at avoiding.
lolifox FTW
Opera
Firefox
end of my story
Kazehakase.
safari
or my own custom webkit based ;)
I use Opera and Firefox, and occasionally K-Meleon. The most important thing in a web browser for me is standards compliance (which IE severely lacks).
so what?
Google Desktop has the functions of popblocker or the other.
Almost all website break up when I browse w/ FF or Opera.
And what I hate is the font and looks-like.
I can solve these problems w/ gdi++ though,...
Phyarfphox lulz.
LOLIFOX
>>47 goggles desktopssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
If there was anything but IE on here, I'd use that.
But sadly, IE.
IE6 was so-so.
IE7? who use it
too many extensions make it vvvvvvvvveryslowly, and make me angry and uncomfortable.
All I need is VitaminC?
I need other fast browser.
lolfox
RIGHT NOW?
Safari. I'm on a mac just now.
At home, firefox.
Lolifox, XeroBank, Konqueror, Links, PSP's browser, DSOrganize's browser, Minimo, Wii's browser, and if need-be, Epiphany or K-Ninja as backups to Konqueror/Lolifox, respectively.
Tried but didn't like Opera, Safari, IE, Songbird, Flock, SeaMonkey, Avant, IEMobile, or Amaya. Still need to look at Sleipnir, Maxthon, Kazehakase, and w3m.
Of course, everyone should really only ever use Links, Dillo, or Swift.

IE is shit and I just didn't like Firefox, so I'm using Opera. I love it.
Mozilla Firefox. Very rarely do I use Opera.
I'm using Opera at the moment, but occasionally I use Firefox. On the rare occasion that I come across a site that will shit the bed unless I use IE, I'm forced to use IE7.
Firefox (with plugins) using it for 2 years never had any complains...
Firefox 2.0 (on my winXP box), Netscape 7.0 (on my OS9 iMac)
Firefox 2.0.0.9 for Windows XP. No complaints whatsoever.
I can't possibly go to IE, Safari, or Opera. =D
ff3.0....

Aw. I was hoping to see w3m reviewed.
On that note, I just found and fixed a couple form-related w3m bugs that were making LiveJournal's OpenID server not work. w3m put an extra carriage return/newline at the end of URL-encoded form content, and when a form didn't specify an action URL (thus implying the current URL), w3m would strip off query strings (so it would post to /whatever.pl instead of /whatever.pl?this=that&id=whatever&etc=etc). And I have an old workaround in my copy to make ".domain.com" (valid for all subdomains) cookies work, not a fix because I don't really understand the issue there.
I should post my fixes on the w3m list or something, but I'm lazy.
I'm posting from WebKit GTK Launcher.

too Slow, too heavy, & eat too much memory.
why does not IE suck?
Nerd kid who uses a "cool" CLI browser!
GTFO!
>>85
Why do people think CLI browsers are "cool"?
And why do I only ever hear this sentiment when someone is attacking it in the same sentence?
i like CLI browsers because they are awesomely fast.
it just so happens that they aren't that great in showing a lot of pages in a featureful and readable way.
NERDRAGE
I like CLI browsers for compat testing (Well, if it's reasonably useable in a CLI browser, then it's usually reasonably useable in a screen reader and in older browsers, too), and for when there just isn't any other way I can browse the internet (Not every machine needs X).
Other than that, nice and bloated GUI pls. I like my firefox extensions.
CLI browsers support CSS and JavaScript lately anyway.
By the way, I think we mean text-based, or terminal-based browsers. Not really CLI.
Although a real command-line browser does exist (I haven't tried it): http://twill.idyll.org/
That's what 99% of people mean when they say CLI anyway.
