(ﾟДﾟ)ﾊｧ?で普通の日本人には理解不可能。
「よろしくお願いします」は英語で何と言う？？？

True, Happy New Year is the standard.

I think it's because the holiday is known as New Year's Day and is capitalized properly as such.
Anyway, for 「今年もよろしくお願いします」 do you think it would be more fitting to use something like "May this year be as prosperous as the last"?

Also, it's a bit stingy. Wishing the *same* prosperity? A company's statistics should go up, not go flat. :)

In 2-ch somebody translated 「今年もよろしくお願いします」
as bellow:
「今年もよろしくお願いします」
=Please treat me this year as well as you did last year.
From a native's point of view, isn't that translation
OK or a little strange?
I'd put it as "Please treat me well this year, too." It isn't stated what も implies in Japanese so you don't need to in English either.
The translation is great. However, as an English phrase, "please treat me well" seems to imply that you are talking to your master. It's somewhat unusual--I guess in English you don't really discuss things like getting along with each other unless you're either (a) subservient or (b) talking to children.
"Please treat me well" makes me think of someone who wants me to buy him/her a lot of good(expensive) food. :)

They are all easy sentences, the thing is that they sound somehow unusual. :)
The meaning is understood, but the concept is foreign.

That makes me think of a beggar I need to support all year long. :)
I'm not sure if there is a similar greeting in English that conveys the same concept of "Take care... of *me*!". Normally it's "You take care [of yourself]" or "Take care of you and yours [wife, family]".
Maybe "working together" would do. "Let's work together this year as well".
The support is mutual here. You help me, I help you.
I guess the closest thing is something like "Thanks for your help" or "Thanks for your business" where you're slightly hinting that you'd appreciate more of the same in future.
