I guess Satou can go out since they made the excuse that he was getting better already. And besides, I wouldn't want to imagine all 24 episodes of NHK just inside his room if he was a 100% hikky. That would be a bore.

Man, I finally gave up on waiting for a decent translation, and watched Oyasumi's.
This is... horrible.
It's got mistakes in basic grammar (they couldn't even get "yume to kibou no mahou shoujo" right!), awkward phrasings, and non-sensical word choices, like leaving in japanese terms for no good reason and putting in giant translation notes, and even making up words like "kidult" for the ending, which makes no sense given the original lyrics.
Maybe it'll get licensed. They couldn't butcher it much worse.
It was sort of odd how Oyasumi had a perfect translation of the risqué PPD OP song and the rest wasn't so good, I always thought.

I'm ababa-liking both the manga and the anime. Whenever I feel like not studying or going to school, I read a chapter or watch an episode to see where that path might lead. Fear is a powerful motivator.

Yeah the seiyu for Misaki is great. Juding from the image of the character I assumed her voice would be high pitched and annoying. However her seiyu turned this totally around.. its just right ne?
I haven't read the novel or the manga, but the show is great. IN a very painful, all-too-familiar kind of way. It's a very therapeutic watch though.
The last episode has two-too-many flashbacks though. The director must have thought we were amnesiacs.
I finished the anime, and loved it.
Then, in the last couple of days, I've read all the manga translated so far. At first, it seemed exactly the same as the series, but then it became very, very different. I recommend reading the manga if you like the series.

No, the flashbacks were from the same episode (24), at a pretty critical moment. Eh, a minor flaw I guess. But still annoying.
Guess it was hinted from the beggining there was something horrible about Misaki's past and the climax of NHK is so random, bvut at the same time very appropriate.
